DaCheng Lok Lok opens in Singapore with famous JB lok lok

If you love the hawker food in Johor Bahru, you’ll be happy to know that several famous JB brands have crossed the border to set up shop here in Singapore. Noteworthy names include Soon Huat (JB) Bak Kut Teh, as well as DaCheng Lok Lok, which has just opened its doors at Tai Seng Avenue.

The popular Malaysian lok lok chain is known for their cheap skewers that cost RM1 a stick—just under S$0.30. They have multiple outlets across JB.

There isn’t much information about the new Singapore outlet, but we know it’s an 11-minute walk from Tai Seng MRT Station. It’s also open till 2am daily, which makes it great for night owls in need of a late-night lok lok fix.

Prices of the lok lok are yet to be confirmed, but we’ll update this story when we get more details. Here’s hoping they’ll be kept affordable like their outlets in JB!

Over at DaCheng’s JB outlets, the stalls offer a wide range of seafood, meats, and veggies to choose from, all priced at RM1 per stick. There’s also a table with an assortment of sauces to dip your lok lok into, including Thai-style and mala.
In the meantime, if you’re crossing the causeway any time soon, visit the TikTok-viral Keijometo Cafe, known for their IG-worthy industrial interiors and Japanese-inspired menu.
