Thai food is aplenty in Singapore, but for those in the know, Northern Thai Tomyam in Berseh Food Centre is the place to visit for what many claim to be the best tom yum soup in town. The stall is also helmed by a native Thai chef!
There are three options on the menu here: N.T. Tom Yum ($5), Clear Tom Yum ($5), and Clear Tom Yum with Noodle ($5.50), but the most popular is N.T. Tom Yum, which is a creamy version of the Thai hot and sour soup. They’re only open for a few hours each day from 10:30am till they’re sold out, which is often before the stated 3:30pm on their storefront. You can expect to see long queues, too.
