Sushi to Sumi is offering $30++ omakase in Raffles Place
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so that just gives you one more reason to have good food with your significant other. Here’s a Japanese restaurant that checks all the boxes: fancy ambience, central location, full omakase experience, and wallet-friendly prices. Sushi to Sumi, located near Raffles Place MRT Station, has an omakase menu that’s priced at $30++ for 11 courses! Girl math: this works out to about $2.73 a course.

There are three different omakase menus for lunch and dinner respectively, with the cheapest being the 11-course Ume ($30++) during lunch, and the priciest being the 15-course Matsu ($120++) for dinner.

Starting with their Ume lunch omakase, you get a chawanmushi, eight pieces of sushi along with one grilled seafood, and a miso soup. For 10 pieces of sushi, opt for their Take lunch ($45++) or dinner omakase ($80++) instead!

You know the drill, omakase menus always change up depending on what’s available or fresh for the day. But you can expect popular dishes such as their Tobiko, Amaebi AKA sweet shrimp, and Sawara, which is a type of mackerel. FYI, these dishes can be ordered separately, but only if you’re visiting during dinner time.

The restaurant is designed to be a standing omakase bar, which means there are no seats here. So don’t be surprised to see customers standing around the bar when you enter the restaurant!
