That is because Starbucks has unveiled its NEW meatless savory treats like Curry Meatless Chicken Pie, and Truffle Meatless Beef & Mushroom Puff to cater to your preference – featuring HARVEST GOURMET® meatless chicken and IMPOSSIBLE™ plant-based beef.

And plant-based does not mean less delicious, as the food can actually be equally sumptuous and nutritious.

If you are more into wraps, what’s in-store include the Meatless Beef, Avocado Omelette, Mushroom & Cheese Wrap, and a nutritious Egg White, Roasted Pepper, Mushroom & Cheddar Wrap.

Other existing wholesome Meatless options include Spinach & Mushroom Quiche, and Egg Mayo & Cheese Multigrain Croissant.

Pair them with your favourite Starbucks drink, and you are off to a good start.

Good to know that Starbucks has also provided consumers with more options to make their daily brews even better, by introducing dairy alternatives – opt for oat milk, soy milk, coconut milk or almond milk.

Curry Meatless Chicken Pie ($6.90)
A beautiful, golden brown pie exquisitely made with a lattice pie crust. Beneath its intricate crust is a meatless chicken filling made with HARVEST GOURMET® meat-free chicken.

This protein and fibre-rich filling combines meat-free chicken with mashed potatoes and curry spices for a burst of aroma and kick of flavour.

This is my personal favourite of the newly launched meatless items, due to the robust spice flavour and ‘chicken’ having a good bite.

For a thirst-quenching drink pairing, you can try the refreshing Teavana drinks range, such as a glass of Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls, lightly sweetened and hand-shaken with ice.

Be rejuvenated at the same time with the bright floral notes of hibiscus, and lush pearls that are bursting with pomegranate juice.

Truffle Meatless Beef & Mushroom Puff ($5.90)
Tease your senses with this flaky, butter pastry filled with an aromatic truffle-infused meatless filling.

Inside, a savoury mix of IMPOSSIBLE™ plant-based beef and sautéed mushrooms gives body to this baked turnover.

Its golden-brown exterior is smooth and crunchy, giving you a flaky bite. Once you bite inside to reveal the fillings, what will strike you most is the distinct truffle fragrance which is rather strong.

Complement this wrap as you cool down with a Hot or Iced Latte with Oat milk.

The dark, toasty notes of signature espresso are preserved as it is served on the rocks with a dairy alternative, neutral-tasting oat milk.

Meatless Beef, Avocado Omelette, Mushroom & Cheese Wrap ($6.90)
Made with IMPOSSIBLE™ plant-based beef, this tortilla wrap sweetens the common ground between vegetarians and meat lovers.

Order this hearty, filling wrap and be ready to boost your day with its IMPOSSIBLE™ beef meat mixed with chunks of avocado omelette, sautéed mushrooms, sweet caramelised onions and shredded cheese.

You get that rich ‘meatiness’, balanced with the smooth egg and earthy mushrooms.

Consider pairing this meatless treat with a Flat White with steamed soy milk?

This drink is made with ristretto or short shots of espresso (more concentrated coffee, sweeter, richer flavour) and microfoam. Your cup shows espresso dominating the flavour, but still supported by the beany soy milk.

Egg Mayo & Cheese Multigrain Croissant ($5.90)
Load up with fibre and order this multigrain croissant turned into a satisfying sandwich.

In between its soft and flaky layers, is a creamy combo of chopped hard-boiled egg, mayonnaise, and cheese filling.

This meatless item’s flavours go well with the invigorating Iced Zen Clouds Oolong with Ruby Grapefruit & Honey.

As this red grapefruit is mild and sweet, the citrus notes are not overpowering. The added honey and simple syrup balances off the sweetness of this bevy.

Egg White, Roasted Pepper, Mushroom & Cheddar Wrap ($5.90)
An ideal on-the-go option, this wrap is made with soft, lightly toasted tortilla encasing a savoury filling.

Roasted caramelised peppers are combined with sautéed mushrooms and egg whites to create a low-fat packed filling, made creamier with melty cheddar cheese.

You’ll be sure to power up your day with this hearty wrap.

Enjoy it paired with a classic Caramel Macchiato but with freshly steamed coconut milk.

The rich and creamy coconut milk adds a velvety smoothness to the drink. Drizzled with caramel sauce as a finale.

Do you know you can also customize the sweetness of drinks (not sweet, less sweet, or regular) for drinks with flavours of Vanilla, Caramel or Hazelnut? It is possible to get a less sweet option while retaining the full flavour.

Try this with Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee with almond milk, slow-steeped in cool water for 20 hours using a custom blend of beans, resulting in a splendid smooth drink.

Brewed without heat, this coffee is handcrafted in small batches to ensure bean flavour is extracted. Finished off with almond milk for a nutty flavour and a hint of sweetness.
