Westies, you’ll want to mark your calendars for this one: Jurong Point is set to launch a street food fair called Food Feastival this Friday, 25 August! It’ll run till 10 September 2023, so that’s three weeks for you to feast to your heart’s content.
The event will see more than 20 stalls from all over the world—think Japan, Thailand, China, Malaysia, and even USA—coming together to bring you goodies including Cinnabon‘s cinnamon rolls, and smashed burgers from AJ’s Burger.

Besides Moo Ping from Siam Thai Food, there’s even Wagyu Skewers from Niku Master.
If you’ve been on TikTok and IG, you’ll have seen the UFO Burger that made quite a storm in Korea; Rosti Haus is the stall at this Jurong Point food festival to check out if you’ve wanted to get your hands on one of these unique burgers.

Another Korean food stall that’s set to appear at Food Feastival is 2 Ninja 1 Fatty, where you’ll be able to find Korean Cheese Coin, a coin-shaped pancake with stringy, oozing cheese within.

Mala lovers, there’s also Mala Cup, starring a mala and tomato soup base that’s made from scratch with Chinese herbs and spices to a secret recipe, so you can have your mala while checking out the rest of the food festival!
SweeT.Rex, which we previously reviewed for their souffle pancakes, is also poised to open a stall at Food Feastival, so you don’t have to go all the way to Maxwell for some of these light-as-air pancakes and Basque burnt cheesecake.
The food stalls aren’t all there is to look forward to at this food festival—head to Jurong Point on 2 to 3, and 9 to 10 September, AKA the two weekends of the September school holidays, and you’ll be able to catch Haidilao’s dancing noodle man, as well as Don Don Donki’s tuna slicing session too!
Otherwise, spend $30 in a single receipt for a chance to take part in a competitive eating competition: finish a bowl of non-spicy noodles in the shortest time possible to qualify for the final round, where contestants will be pitted against one another to see who can eat the most bowls of these same noodles. Winners will get to walk away with prizes including OSIM uDivine Max, Sterra Breeze air purifiers, and vouchers.
While you’re at the Boon Lay mall, we’ve got a Jurong Point food guide for you to suss out what to have, other than the stuff at the food festival. There’s also a Japanese food street in the mall if you’ve not been there!
